What is The Perfect Plan Events & Expos?

The Perfect Plan Events & Expos is a small, one-woman-owned event coordinator business servicing the Southeast Missouri area and beyond. Our focus lies on the strange, unusual, unique, odd, and whimsical aspects of reality, to manifest dreams both within fellow small business owners and consumers alike.

What made The Perfect Plan come to existence?

The Perfect Plan Events & Expos is a dream. I’ve had many of them; from cat herding, to tarot reading, to whimsical witcheries and more. So many I’ve excelled at, others I grow periodically. All the while, pushing others to achieve their own hopes and aspirations. When I began my old brick and mortar a few years ago, that was specifically what it was built on: the idea of a dream, and everyone else’s, too.

Maybe you knew about it; The Wishing Well. As fun as it was, with health complications on the rise, being able to manage the store and handle the important aspects of life, it became impossible to do it all. I shuttered the doors, took a break, nursed myself and my mother to the best of my ability, and here I am, back at it again. The hardest part was the feeling of believing I let all of our vendors down. A big premise of The Wishing Well was the concept of having small businesses within our small business, catering to the different, the unique, and the strange. From macabre artists to metaphysical supply, tabletop gaming to the most kawaii, you could’ve found anything there. I loved seeing all of the amazing work these individuals put into their products, and I knew it was something I didn’t want to give up. Growing from the very bottom (I started my first venture, Niphead, with twenty bucks, an old sewing machine, and secondhand fabrics) I knew just how difficult it is to find amazing shows that cater to the different folks with unique products.

As I mulled over the dreams others have graciously shared with me, and my own, I made the tentative decision to begin The Perfect Plan.

Ok, but who are YOU?

My name is Raven Clark. My very first business was Niphead, where I grow my own all-natural catnip and make handmade cat toys, among other catty things. I also was the co-owner, marketer, social media manager, customer service manager, and general manager for The Wishing Well, before the doors had to sadly shut. Prior to closing those, I began Ravitica, where I am merging Niphead into. I am a strange artist, making whatever it is my heart desires. Jewelry, bone art, entomology art, paintings once in a blue moon… If it’s artsy and weird, I try to get my hands on it.

Beyond that, I’m also a professional tarot reader with several years’ experience under my belt, as well as a Level 2 Reiki Master, certified animal communicator, and most excitedly, an educator through The Omnist Ministry of Missouri, located in Maryville, MO.

I’ve been doing vendor shows since 2018, and have had experience with assisting others in their own planning. After much persistence from my amazing support network (and disgruntled nudges from the universe), I am now stepping into the world of event planning myself. While I may be new to the scene, I am confident in my skills and abilities.

Awesome. So what type of events does The Perfect Plan do?

Frankly – really cool ones. I’ve always been one to “go against the grain,” so to speak. The Southeast Missouri area is my home, and while it will always hold a special place in my heart, I also have found a lack of really amazing, unique events that could highly benefit the area.

No simple mundane things here – let’s dive deep and explore the weird.

Be sure to keep an eye on our socials, or check out the Upcoming Events page to stay up-to-date to what’s coming.

Will all of your events be vendor events?

As of now, vendor events are what are in the works. These events won’t be strictly vendors – but you’ll have to just come see for yourself what lies ahead!

In the future, you’ll also be able to check out a variety of other events, too, such as courses or seminars.

How can I apply to be a vendor?

Keep an eye out on our socials and the particular event pages when they get announced. Each event will have it’s own vendor application. There is never any fee to apply to events by The Perfect Plan, though placement is never guaranteed.

Anything else I should know?

Apply even if you think you won’t fit in to the theme! You never know, and I’m a sucker for budding businesses.

I hope you decide to follow me on this path and see what amazing things lie ahead. It’s going to be a fun ride.
